Burst Water Main Cancels Show

On Saturday morning just 15 minutes after the start of the Sporting Shooters & Fishing Show, a water main burst outside Forum North.  Due to the unavailability of all toilets, fire sprinklers and anything requiring water, unfortunately the event had to be shut down.

Thanks to the quick work from contractors the issue was resolved as soon as possible, however, because of the nature of the merchandise on display it was decided by organisers to cancel the remainder of the show.

Forum North and the Whangarei District Council will be working with the Sporting Shooters & Fishing Show to hopefully reschedule the event.
