Whangarei Hunting, Shooting & Fishing Show Rescheduled

June 19 2009

The show, to be held at the Expo Hall, Forum North will feature stalls selling fishing tackle, firearms, ammunition, accessories, books, swords and knives. In addition to local sports retailers there will be a number of exhibitors from out of town who will display a range of products, alongside private stall holders.

A strong feature of the show will be representation by local organisations and shooting clubs who will display a variety of firearms and equipment.  Among the organisations participating at the show are: Whangarei Pistol Club, Deer Stalkers Association, Antique & Historical Arms Association, Fish & Game, Search & Rescue.

Visitors to the show will have the opportunity to view and buy hunting and fishing gear as well as antique and collectable firearms and accoutrements.  It is intended there will be something for every one with an interest in fishing, hunting and shooting and the chance of a bargain.

Both the Whangarei District Council and the Show organisers, Northland Branch Sporting Shooters Association of New Zealand apologise to all those inconvenienced and disappointed by the previous cancellation.

The Show will be open to the public from 10 am to 4pm and admission is $2.50.
